Antioch 49 A.D. Follow-Up

Thank you to all the wonderful teachers, dramatists, and behind the scenes workers and contributors who made Antioch 49 A.D. a wonderful week. You are all greatly appreciated and the children were blessed by your commitment.

The children became blessings to the community as they undertook mission projects in the model of the early church. The final tally of prepared missions were:

12 women’s toiletry bags to Sojourner’s Shelter

2 fleece blankets for the Linus Project

The Middle School Youth were wonderful as the leaders for the opening lessons each evening. In addition they were busy each evening as KUPC outreach agents. On Monday they shopped for and purchased foods needed at the Covenant House Food Pantry. On Tuesday night they visited Rev. Ken King bringing Communion and his favorite candy. Wednesday night saw a lively Bingo party at Sojourner’s Shelter hosted by the Youth. Way to Go KUPC Younger Youth!!
